i started in 1975 as a dj in england, and have never looked back.
my career has taken me across the world visiting new continents and new cultures, and learning different skills and customer service presentations.
having been employed by various exclusive dj agents in london such as bacchus and julianna's international and worked in the following country's: germany, switzerland norway denmark sweden syria australia hong kong korea france scotland luxembourg greece;
i have always enjoyed entertaining people and making people smile.
when i came to america i wanted to be different, and cutting edge but most importantly i needed people to understand that money is not the most important part but the giving.
customer service was number one, and what the client wants paramount.
i have succeeded and many times copied in my goal to supersede the other services.
i do not present my company at bridal shows or other 'market' events or showcases.
i believe in individuality, and to stand out from the rest one must be individual and not bunched in with the rest.
cost is always an important factor for many brides when searching for dj services or bands to play at their wedding reception - the conception that a good deal is a lower price than some others is simply that - a misconception.
there is no such thing as 'overpriced' as we could simply turn the tables and say there are many dj services that are cheap.would you have a cheap wedding dress?
why consider cost as the first determining factor? - because it is human nature to be 'tempted' by a low price the same as when someone offers something for free - your instinct takes over.
the only advice you need to select the right dj or band for your special day is to meet them in person and follow your instincts - then at the end if they are $xxx amount of dollars you will make the right decision as your decision was not based on price but instinct.
simply put - do not ever book a dj on price, or a recommendation from another person (another
persons perception of what is good may be your perception of bad) - everyone has different levels
of what is acceptable and what is not:
some people think a t-shirt from walmart is good and others would not use it to wash the car.
choose wisely, check references and set up an appointment to meet some dj services.
remember the dj or band will make or break the event without a shadow of a doubt.
most boring, cheesy uninteresting events are usually because the person booked a good deal dj.
best wishes
